The General Meade Society of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Friends of Laurel Hill, calls all volunteers to assist in preparing for the nation’s Memorial Day commemoration. Those assembled will be assigned to place American flags on the grave sites of Veterans that served in all of our nation’s wars at Laurel Hill East Cemetery. Afterward, light refreshments and beverages will be provided for all volunteers.

This event is taking place during Love Your Park Week, a citywide celebration of Philadelphia’s park system.

RSVP is strongly encouraged, for us to order an appropriate amount of refreshments. Donations are always welcome and appreciated!
