Two Gods Film Screening & Discussion

Laurel Hill West

Two Gods is a documentary film about Hanif, a Muslim casket maker and ritual body washer in Newark, NJ, and the two boys he mentors through teaching them his craft and profession over the course of several years. A quietly powerful story of faith, redemption, and the healing powers of the rituals that surround grief, Two Gods encompasses life, death, and the struggle to survive.

Following a screening of the film, join Hanif in person along with director Zeshawn Ali and producer Aman Ali for a conversation and Q+A.
