Only the Good Die Young

Laurel Hill East

The 19th century was a perilous time for children in Philadelphia. The likelihood of a child under five dying of disease or accident was high. If they made it to ten, chances are they would continue into adulthood. On this tour we will visit the graves of some children who left this world too soon.
