Making Peace with Impermanence

When

Laurel Hill West
215 Belmont Avenue

This living funeral experience will invite participants to engage with mortality as a life-affirming practice. Participants will begin with a short guided cemetery walk, collecting natural materials to create a collage honoring themselves, a loved one, known or unknown Ancestors, or the future Ancestors they’re becoming. We’ll also explore mapping emotions in our bodies, and close with a rememberance ritual to represent loss we may be experiencing. This workshop aims to reduce death anxiety by creating a calm, non-clinical, non-religious space for mindful contemplation.

Hot herbal tea and light refreshments are included in your ticket.
