You might not hear it, but music hangs in the air at Laurel Hill East. These are the heavenly intonations of the many composers, musicians, singers, and others who are interred there. During this tour, we’ll meet an opera singer who delighted Teddy Roosevelt at the White House; a magazine editor and poet whose most famous work has provided lyrical inspiration for the likes of Paul McCartney, Otis Redding, Buddy Guy, and others; and a cabaret singer and actress whose New York Times obituary is probably the only article in that publication that ever mentioned “Fellini” and “Crocodile Dundee” in the same sentence.
