Cinema in the Cemetery: Eraserhead
David Lynch’s first feature, Eraserhead (1977), is a surrealist black-and-white horror film set against the backdrop of a stark and corrupt industrial cityscape. Lynch has attributed inspiration for the setting to his time as a student in 1960s Philadelphia.
