Divine Hand Ensemble: ARIA 51

When

Where

Laurel Hill East

Between outer space and opera music lies ARIA 51, the Divine Hand Ensemble’s debut album and centerpiece of this concert among the crypts. Hypnotically weaving magic and science and led by concert thereminist Mano Divina Giannone, Divine Hand is the world’s only theremin-fronted band and has performed over the years for the likes of David Lynch and the Pope. With the theremin as diva backed by a string quartet, harps, vibraphone and accordion, join us for an otherworldly journey that pushes the bounds of classical music and samples the sounds of Bowie, Zappa, Queen, Edith Piaf, The Specials and more.

This event takes place outdoors; please BYO blankets and lawn chairs. Rain Date: June 4.
