Civil War Tour in South Laurel Hill

When

Where

Laurel Hill East

Laurel Hill has a rich history of many who were involved in the American Civil War, but most notables are only pointed out during tours that cover the North and Central sections, as they are the closest to the Gatehouse. But the SOUTH section, though less visited, also has a rich Civil War legacy with various gravesites of generals, soldiers, politicians, and others who contributed to this conflict, on both sides. With about 321 identified veterans in South Laurel Hill you will meet some of our residents who are now part of history, who shaped the future of our county.

This tour will be held entirely in the southern portion of Laurel Hill East, there will be a 5-10 minute walk to this section, before the tour begins.
