Cinema in the Cemetery: Night of the Living Dead
George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (1968) is an independent zombie horror film following the plight of a group under assault by flesh-eating reanimated corpses in rural PA. Although the monsters that appear in the film are referred to as “ghouls”, they are credited with popularizing the modern portrayal of zombies in popular culture.
Come at 7:00 PM to peruse our pop-up local artists’ market, grab some food & beer from the food trucks, and enjoy the screening of this cult classic at dusk (~8:30 PM).
