At these annual after-dark tours of Laurel Hill East, hear the storied lives of restless spirits from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Knowledgeable tour guides will lead visitors by flashlight down winding pathways, and the night will conclude with festive beverages around roaring fire pits.

Getting Here

• We strongly recommend ridesharing, carpooling, or taking public transit, as parking is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Limited free street parking is available on Ridge Ave and on streets in the surrounding neighborhood.
• Limited free accessible parking will be reserved in the parking lot directly across the street from the cemetery entrance located at 3822 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19132.
• No vehicles will be permitted to enter the cemetery.

Accessibility

• The entrance to the cemetery is paved with approximately 50 feet of uneven cobblestone.  
• For guests with mobility concerns, a designated tour guide will lead a route entirely on paved paths (no grass or stairs). Please inform a staff member at the start of the line if you would like to join this accessible tour.
• All tours will end in the courtyard, which is paved.

Event Details

• Please aim to arrive by 6:45 PM. All tours will be sent out as close to 7:00 PM as possible, on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are late it is possible that all tour groups will have been sent out and you might miss most of the experience.
• Walking tours last approximately 1.5 hours. Dress comfortably for the duration of your tour and wear sturdy walking shoes. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or heels.
• We recommend you bring a flashlight, as tours will go into grassy-uneven areas and cemetery lighting is limited. Flashlights will also be available for purchase at check-in.
• After your tour, a donation bar will be available for beverages and snacks with payment options of Venmo or cash. Our pop-up Gift Shop will also be set up (accepting cash or card).
