In Their Own Words

Laurel Hill East

Many of permanent residents at Laurel Hill Cemetery East had a way with words, whether they were keeping diaries, writing novels and poetry, or keeping up with friends via letter. In this tour, we let these people speak for themselves, as they describe a traditional New England Thanksgiving, recount their big moment singing at the White House, and contemplate the romantic ramifications of coin collecting, among other written words they left behind.
