Laurel Hill is proud to partner with and support other non-profit organizations whose missions, goals, or activities align with ours. Throughout the year, we work with these groups to host unique events on our grounds to bring awareness to our shared goals.

Goat Walks

Meet the goats of Philly Goat Project at Laurel Hill West for a FREE hour-long goat walk. Learn about Laurel Hill’s sustainability initiatives and green burial as we take turns walking the goats.

The walk starts at the start time listed below, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early.

No registration is necessary for this all-ages event, RSVP encouraged!

  • Wednesday, October 1 at 5:30PM – Laurel Hill West
  • Wednesday, October 8 at 5:30PM – Laurel Hill East

 

Where do we meet?

For our West walks, we will meet at the Funeral Home parking lot at Laurel Hill West (225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004).

For our East walks, we will meet in the Courtyard at Laurel Hill East (3822 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132).

In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled for the next day (Thursday). Check Philly Goat Project’s website and social media for weather related changes. Same day inquiries please text 215-703-8057.

Have a great time while making an even greater impact…with goats!

The fun includes meeting the goats, special GOAToberFest labeled beer from Triple Bottom Brewing, 2026 calendar launch, costume contest, snacks and drinks, raffle to win art created by the goats, auction items featuring Philly’s coolest items and experiences, tour of historic Laurel Hill West, and more!

Ticket sales support the many free programs that Philly Goat Project provides year round including education, job training, community wellness and so much more.

This event is 14+ with an adult and takes place at Laurel Hill West’s Conservatory (215 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004).
