New Year Release Sound Bath

Laurel Hill West Conservatory

Take a moment at the beginning of 2023 to pause, ground, and relax in a serene setting at Laurel Hill West, as we calm the mind and body with sacred sounds. Scientific research shows the frequency of sound waves lowers anxiety and blood pressure. It is an easy way to get out of your head and nourish your soul. No meditation experience is needed for this session, which will begin with gentle stretching and guided breath and body scan, inviting reflection on the things that we want to let go of, or even grieve, and creating space for what we want to carry forward into this year. Discover a state of sweet surrender and drop into deep relaxation with the sounds of live handpans, gongs, chimes, flutes, singing bowls, drums and more.

Please bring a yoga mat and small blanket for your comfort.

With Mary DiMeglio and Sean Youngman of Mishana Yoga & Wellness in East Falls.
