Join Rachel Wolgemuth and Sarah Hamill on this special members-only walking tour as they unlock and step inside select mausolea to see the mosaic artistry hidden within.  You’ll hear more about the notable Philadelphians buried within and see for yourself how they used color and craft to elevate mourning into artistry in their final resting place.  Join us to view these unique, hidden patterns and hear these stories sealed in stone.

• We will depart from the CONSERVATORY inside the cemetery (not the first building you see when you enter from Belmont Ave.).
• Directions for getting to Laurel Hill West are linked here.
• Laurel Hill West is located at 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd PA 19004 (GPS Directions: 340 Belmont Ave.)
  • When you arrive and enter the cemetery you will pass two sets of gates and see a white line on the road. Follow this line to the Conservatory
  • NOTE FOR UBER/LYFT RIDERS: Have your driver go into the cemetery following the above directions—otherwise, you will have a 5–10-minute walk to the event location.
• Free parking is available outside the Conservatory.
