Boneyard Bookworms: January Book Discussion

All are welcome to join Laurel Hill’s monthly book club discussions!

In January we’ll meet online to discuss Sum: Forty Tales of the Afterlives, an imaginative collection of short vignettes by author and neuroscientist David Eagleman.

In one afterlife, you may find that God is the size of a microbe and unaware of your existence. In another version, you work as a background character in other people’s dreams. Or you may find that God is a married couple, or that the universe is running backward, or that you are forced to live out your afterlife with annoying versions of who you could have been. As this collection of short vignettes explores unexpected afterlives, it offers an imaginative lens through which to see ourselves the here and now.

Please RSVP to receive a Zoom meeting link.
