POSTPONED – Cinema in the Cemetery: Eraserhead – Rain Date Soon

When

Where

Laurel Hill East

David Lynch’s first feature, Eraserhead (1977), is a surrealist black-and-white horror film set against the backdrop of a stark and corrupt industrial cityscape. Lynch has attributed inspiration for the setting to his time as a student in 1960s Philadelphia. Join us for a screening of this cult classic at 8:30 PM, and come early at 7:00PM to peruse a popup artists’ market, tunes from DJ John Morrison, and trivia hosted by the Philadelphia Film Society, co-host of our outdoor cinema series.

Please note that Kelly Drive will be closed the day of the cinema, so leave additional time for travel as the area will be more congested than usual.

This event is taking place during Love Your Park Week, a citywide celebration of Philadelphia’s park system.
